"Flower" theme exhibition, which is the seventh exhibition of Pinault Collection in Gucci Museum, is also one of the most symbolic elements of Gucci:

Flower pattern

Martin Bethenod, director of the Palazzo Grassi Art Center and the Punta della Dogana Museum in Venice, has worked as a planner, including works created by four artists from 1967 to 2012 and related to flowers.

The theme of the exhibition is simple, but the content is very rich: every exhibit is very attractive (one of which is full of fragrance). It is exquisite and thought-provoking.

For many people, perhaps the theme of "flower" may seem ordinary, but the themes such as "fame", "recollection", "politics" and "artistic value" are of profound significance.

Val e RIE Belin

Born in 1964, French photographer.

In his 2010 works "Calendula" and "Phlox New Hybrid", he combined the female faces and flower patterns in a mixed style (botanical perspective) in human beings and flowers, natural and artificial, real and dreamy, appearing and missing, charming and cold cool.

The great American photographer Irving Penn (1917-2009) created two double linked paintings: "Cottage Tulip, Sorbet, New York (1967)" and "Single Oriental Poppy (1968)", combining black and white paintings with the same color paintings.

Classicism and detail oriented printing (black and white painting using white gold printing, color painting using dye printing) reflects the complete form control and absolute perfection pursuit of these two works, and shows the concern for the passage of time and the emptiness of all things, revealing the unique style of the photographer.

Latifa Echakhch was born in Morocco in 1974.

The main material used in its work "Fantme" is jasmine, or rather the Flower Necklace sold by street vendors in the Middle East towns.

This work is from the artist's memory: a saleswoman selling Molly in Beirut sells shirts to narcissus to protect the fragrance and freshness of flowers.

In addition to the obvious vulnerability, the sculpture also triggered a revolution in the "Arabia spring" movement and a boycott of chaos.

Therefore, these flowers have political significance.

Marlene Dumas was born in South Africa in 1953.

The "Einder" he created in 2007-2008 depicts a very alarming scene: under the blue night, the floating coffin floating on the tranquil sea is sleeping with the artist's mother who died recently.

In this work, she recounted the memory, sadness and remembrance of her mother in beautiful and gentle colors.
