Recently, this event has become a hot topic on Sina micro-blog platform, causing a nationwide response to "I voice for Chinese traditional arts and culture", including celebrities and other mass social media, forums and post bars.

What is the French Chinese doing?

The reporter found Victor D. herself on the Facebook platform. In the face of numerous voices, Victor said: "2015 is just the 10th anniversary of the Spring Festival of Chinese and French culture, and there are ten celebrities in China's cultural circles as ambassadors to support this matter. As a French Chinese, I can do something for this. I think that the Chinese ancient art needs to be passed on. I hope that the proposal initiated in my personal name can arouse the common voice of the fashion industry, support the inheritance of ancient art together, combine the ancient Chinese culture and art with fashion products, and give the fashionable products of the old art and new life, which is what designers should pursue and achieve.

The following is the full text of the proposal for the Chinese people who love Chinese traditional culture.

Honey, how about you? Are you willing to give voice to traditional Chinese culture?

Respected UNESCO's ladies and gentlemen,

My name is Victor Doan, and I am a French designer. The purpose of this letter is to hope that the United Nations Educational, scientific and cultural organization or related foundation can consider helping to preserve the traditional arts and culture that is dying in China.

Actually, because my mother is Chinese, I like Chinese traditional art culture very much from childhood.

In an occasional chance, I enjoyed the wonderful performance of Miao minority from China in Le Louvre Museum. Their unique cultural history, full of meaning, remembering the gorgeous costumes of their ancestors, and replacing words, tells the fascinating story of the long story. Everything is so mysterious and amazing.

During the period after the performance, I did a lot of investigations, and found that the Miao nationality is a nation without words but through songs and words passed by hand and handed down from generation to generation. After thousands of years of baptism, such a nation still stands in the world. I think this is a cultural miracle.

However, this miracle has not been protected like that of the Chinese national treasure giant panda. It may slowly die out.

The young people of the Miao nationality began to leave their hometown and go out to work. They began to give up learning unique traditional skills, and even less understood their own unique history and culture, and even even their ancestral patterns could not even speak their own national language. In their villages, only old old houses, old people and children are left. The elderly still insist on embroidering special meanings and beautiful patterns for their next generation, and their next generation may not be able to inherit this craft.

A civilization without thousands of years of culture, which can be passed down by words and crafts, may become a special program of children's history or part of their performances in 20 years.

Every country and nation's culture is the world. Other cultures in the world are facing the same or similar fate. Every culture is the treasure of the world and an important part of world civilization.

Therefore, I hope that UNESCO or related foundations can take some measures to help local governments carry out conservation work related to Miao culture. I have the following suggestions:

1. recording and recording of Hmong music and historical stories.

2. the implementation of the wage craftsman system, the heirs of the intangible cultural heritage and the craftsmen can obtain the necessary life support for their education and cultural inheritance.

3. set up special history courses and craft teaching in schools of Miao nationality gathering area, and cultivate young Miao people's interest in handicrafts from an early age.

The above suggestions only represent my personal view.

It is hoped that the United Nations Educational, scientific and cultural organization will attach importance to the conservation of traditional Chinese art and culture, so that these totems that represent human wisdom can be inherited.

Thank you!

Victor Doan
