Giordano'S Net Profit Fell 4% In 2018.

On the evening of April 17th, Giordano announced that sales in 2018 amounted to HK $5 billion 509 million, an increase of 1.79% over the same period last year. Gross profit was HK $3 billion 250 million, an increase of 0.9% over the same period last year. The profit attributable to shareholders decreased by 4% to HK $480 million, and the average selling price increased by 7.6% over the same period last year.

By the end of 2018, Giordano international had provided 2426 easy market wear through 1309 networks, of which 1309 were independent stores. Most stores are located in Greater China, South Korea, Southeast Asia and the Middle East. Giordano international managed the market by region and distribution channel. Last year, the number of outlets increased by 12.

By brand, the core Giordano brand accounts for 85.6% of global brand sales. Driven by the comprehensive marketing method, the sales of children's wear can be increased by 6.9%, while the gross profit of comparable stores increased by 4.8%. Comparable retail sales and comparable market margins increased by 1.1% and 1.5% respectively over the same period. Giordano international high-end women's clothing brand GiordanoLadies continued to grow.

For future development, Giordano said in its announcement that it will continuously improve the quality and efficiency, expand business potential, strategic marketing and explore new business opportunities to promote growth.
