   Authorities in the LaRioja province in northern Argentina say they will invest $3 million to build a leather sewage treatment plant in Nonogasta Town, so that the tannery industry in the region will say goodbye to the recent troubled history. 


Mr. NitoBrizuela, Minister of the Ministry of environmental protection of LaRioja Province, announced that the Nonogasta sewage treatment plant is one of the top 5 sewage treatment plants in Latin America. The gas treated by the plant is fresh and water can be used for irrigation.
