From China's own situation, as China gradually entered the ranks of middle-income countries, labor costs and other factors continue to rise, the traditional comparative advantage is facing severe challenges, and accelerating the pformation of trade development mode is a very arduous task.

Huang Yuefeng said that the foreign trade division of the Ministry of Commerce will, in line with the requirements of the "12th Five-Year plan", focus on independent innovation, focus on R & D, brand and marketing channels, and encourage textile and garment export enterprises to upgrade their industrial smiling curves at both ends.

On the one hand, we should accelerate the construction of the public service platform system for foreign trade and effectively enhance the quality and level of China's foreign trade development.

On the other hand, we should speed up the pformation of Chinese manufacturing from "processing and manufacturing" to "designing and manufacturing", and guide the powerful foreign trade enterprises to extend the industrial chain to the more high-end industrial design chain and the laying of sales channels at home and abroad at the later stage.

According to customs statistics, the total value of China's imports and exports reached US $2 trillion and 148 billion 680 million this year from 1 to September, an increase of 37.9% over the same period last year. The total foreign trade volume of textile and apparel reached 164 billion 410 million US dollars over the same period, an increase of 22.75% over the same period last year, of which exports were US $149 billion 810 million, up 23.1% over the same period last year.
