It is reported that Yaxin is only a point of "carbon layout" of Dalian Xingke Carbon Fiber Co., Ltd., and the company will build 4 tons of carbon fiber bases in Dalian, Baotou, Sanhe and Baoding. They aim at the export of the national grid carbon fiber composite core. With carbon fiber instead of steel core, the amount of carbon fiber in a year will reach 60 thousand tons ~8 million tons. Even if Dalian's Xingke 5 million tons base is built, it will be difficult to meet the needs of a project.
In recent years, a number of carbon fiber projects like this have sprang up. At present, there are nearly 40 carbon fiber enterprises in China. There are many specifications for carbon fibers, ranging from low to high T300, T700, T800 and T1000. According to insiders, China's carbon fiber market is mainly concentrated in the field of sports and leisure products. At present, there are about 7000 tons of actual demand in the domestic 8000 tons for this area, and the growth of the future market is in the field of new industrial applications.
Taking fan blade as an example, according to the plan, the demand for carbon fiber in China's fan blade market will reach ten thousand ton level by 2020. Yao Mu, academician of the Chinese Academy of engineering, predicts that in the next 40 years, at least half of the world's machines will be made of fiber reinforced composites instead of metal. It can be seen that carbon fiber applications are shifting from sophisticated applications to more industrial and civilian sectors.
At the same time, some domestic enterprises have carried out the research and development of carbon fiber specifications of T700 and above, and have been applied in the field of national defense, and even some enterprises have launched an attack on T800. Insiders said that the production of high carbon fiber in China has exceeded the lab stage and reached the tonnage output. The main problem now is to enhance stability.
There is no denying that domestic carbon fiber products still have problems such as high production costs and unopened applications, but some enterprises engaged in carbon fiber said that temporary overcapacity is not necessarily a bad thing, because this narrow bottle mouth effect can promote deep research and development, talent storage, market promotion and other factors conducive to industrial development. Speaking of the state's policy of vigorously supporting and developing new industries, they highly appreciate and say that without a good development environment, the existing carbon fiber projects will inevitably shrink and stagnate, and even retrogress to the period of tight supply and scarce products in the carbon fiber market.
It is true that the growth of new industries should not only achieve technological breakthroughs, but also make breakthroughs in the policy system, such as improving the industrial layout and investment management, and increasing the supervision of supporting funds.
