Young designer Alexis Mabille said, "only a few embroidery made in the best workshop can make the price of the whole dress increase by 45 thousand euros".



The name of custom fashion only exists in Paris.

The difference between it and clothing and even luxury clothing is the unique style and the work of tailors in the workshop. Sometimes it takes hundreds of hours to make a high-end fashion according to the size of the customer.

Claude Mialaud has held the same position in Saint-Laurent company for 15 years.

She needs to travel a lot, about ten times a season.

Many old customers don't go to fashion shows, but they prefer to send pictures and information to the company.



Claude Mialaud said, "they do not like to show their faces because they are low-key," which also makes them mysterious.

The company provides them with personalized services that vary from person to person.



They can change some details when ordering fashion: add sleeves to change the skirt length.

But if they find that one of the clothes has been sold to another, the tailor will have to tell them, "it will be like this."



For the sake of secrecy, Claude Mialaud can't tell them which country they sell to, but this usually makes people cancel their purchase.

"Some women think this is important. They don't want to bump into others."



Similarly, if a star has worn a skirt over a red carpet, "they will not want it again": this dress has been seen.



Small companies like Alexis Mabille promise not to sell two identical styles of clothing in the same country.

On the contrary, if customers insist on the clothes she wants, they will be alone.
