On the afternoon of June 28th, organized by the China Textile Industry Association, the theme meeting of the annual conference on social responsibility of the Chinese textile and garment industry, supported by the Ministry of development and Reform Commission and the Ministry of industry and commerce, was held in the Henan Hall of the Great Hall of the people. During this period, an important manifestation of the pformation process of China's textile industry is the significant progress made in the construction of the social responsibility of textile and garment enterprises.

After formulating the CSC9000T social responsibility management system in 2005, the China Textile Industry Association launched a large-scale training program in 11th Five-Year and a pilot project for enterprise implementation.

This promoted the harmony between enterprises and society, increased labor productivity, produced the effect of protecting the ecological environment and maintaining market order, enhanced international exchanges and cooperation, and improved it.

Then, from the perspective of the development of the whole industry, he expounded four suggestions for carrying out the social responsibility work in the industry. First, according to the relevant laws and regulations of the state, we should abide by the law and discipline, which is the first practical action for the enterprises to fulfill their social responsibilities; two, we should adhere to the people-oriented principle, respect knowledge, respect labour, respect creation and respect the legitimate rights and interests of the laborers; three, we must adhere to the results of energy conservation and emission reduction as textiles.

The implementation of the characteristics of the social responsibility is the objective requirement of sustainable development. The four is to continue to do a lot of long-term public relations and publicity and education, unify the core idea, and actively guide enterprises to strengthen social responsibility.

During the meeting, the China Textile Industry Association issued the "2010-2011 China Textile and garment industry social responsibility report". Meanwhile, 16 textile and garment enterprises released the annual report on social responsibility.

At the meeting, the China Textile Industry Association signed the social responsibility project cooperation agreement with the Swedish Embassy in China, and issued a social responsibility award to the relevant enterprises.
