On the occasion, the first delegation of Rongcheng County in Hebei participated in the exhibition. The county government also held a promotion meeting with more than ten large-scale enterprises to showcase the achievements made by the county in building famous cities in northern China, and to invite businessmen from home and abroad to invest in the planned parks and projects.

Located in Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei, the Baigou town in Hebei is even more famous than the county in Hebei, Rongcheng.

It is precisely by virtue of the influence of Baigou clothing market that Rongcheng county has made efforts to build a famous garment city in northern China and has formed a fairly large scale garment industry cluster.

According to the briefing, at present, there are 920 clothing enterprises in the county, more than 2000 garment processing workers, 3000 management and technical personnel, more than 70 thousand skilled workers, 75 thousand advanced equipment, 80 clothing design and research institutes, and Western style clothing products.

There are six series of over 1000 varieties, including 1 Chinese products, 18 provincial brands, and 25 famous trademarks in Hebei. The products are exported to over 50 countries and regions in Asia, the US and Europe. The annual delivery value of the exported products reaches 5 billion yuan, and the direct export of foreign exchange is 200 million US dollars.

Last year, sales revenue was 16 billion yuan.

Since last year, Rongcheng county has re examined the prospects for the development of the clothing industry, taking quality and innovation as the leading development of garment enterprises, supported by technological pformation and technological innovation, accelerated industrial agglomeration, nurturing famous brands, and urged the pformation of garment industry's operation mode from production processing to marketing, brand pformation from OEM to independent brand, economic growth from expansion of production to upgrading of added value, and efforts to build the largest garment R & D base in North China, the largest garment production base and the largest clothing distribution base.

In today's promotion conference, Rongcheng County highlighted the county's industrial development plan in 12th Five-Year, namely, textile and garment industrial zone, auto parts industrial zone, tourist service area and Baigou bridge south market, Baima clothing market.
