Countervailing Investigation On Imported PVC From The United States

The Ministry of Commerce announced on August 14 that the Ministry of Commerce received an application for countervailing investigation formally submitted by Xinjiang Zhongtai Chemical Co., Ltd. and other companies (hereinafter referred to as the applicant) on behalf of the domestic PVC industry, and the applicant requested to conduct a countervailing investigation on imported PVC originating in the United States. On September 25, the Ministry of Commerce issued an invitation to the U.S. government for consultations on countervailing investigations, and held consultations with the U.S. government on October 13. Since the date of promulgation of this announcement, the Ministry of Commerce has filed a countervailing investigation on imported PVC originating in the United States.
