According to the latest news from the National Bureau of statistics, in the first quarter of 2021, China's industrial capacity utilization rate was 77.2%, an increase of 9.9 percentage points over the same period of last year.

In terms of major industries, in the first quarter, the textile industry was 78.3%, the chemical raw materials and chemical products manufacturing industry was 76.9%, the general equipment manufacturing industry was 80.0%, the special equipment manufacturing industry was 82.5%, the electrical machinery and equipment manufacturing industry was 81.1%, and the computer, communication and other electronic equipment manufacturing industry was 79.3%.

In terms of categories, in the first quarter, the utilization rate of manufacturing capacity was 77.6%, up 10.4 percentage points; The capacity utilization rate of power, heat, gas and water production and supply industries was 74.5%, up 6.7 percentage points.
