Defoliant is an industrial synthetic poison. Its function is to kill plants or make their leaves fall overnight. Defoliants are mainly "orange agent", and others are "orange agent", "blue agent" and "Monroe velvet". They all contain a large number of toxic chemical substances, including a kind of persistent poison, dioxin (TCDD).

Defoliants are mainly "orange agent", and others are "orange agent", "blue agent" and "Monroe velvet". They all contain a large number of toxic chemical substances, including a kind of persistent poison, dioxin (TCDD).
Defoliant can be used to harvest cotton and fruit trees, as well as potatoes, hops, flax, legumes and seed crops.
In 1967-1971, during the Vietnam War, the U.S. military used a large amount of defoliant in the Vietnamese jungle to destroy the ambush sites of North Vietnamese soldiers. However, defoliant did not reverse the war situation, but caused a large number of deaths and disability. So far, thousands of Vietnamese children still have congenital malformations indirectly caused by defoliants.
The Vietnamese government says about 4 million people have been exposed to leaf litter and about 3 million of them have become ill. The Vietnamese Red Cross estimates that about one million people have health problems due to leaf litter. However, the U.S. government questioned the statistics.
1967 - 1971 to prevent Vietnamese guerrilla attacks, the U. S. military used in the coastal areas of Vietnam To protect the safety of ships and "personnel" The US military began to use chemical defoliants It is produced almost entirely by chemical companies in the United States It's clear that chemical defoliants kill humans as well as plants Up to now, thousands of children in Vietnam have been born deformed directly or indirectly by chemical defoliants There is a rehabilitation hospital in Hanoi, Vietnam, funded by American veterans To help children who are innocent victims of chemical defoliants
The U.S. Air Force has implemented a "ranch action plan.". It is no different from the pesticides used in the United States, but the dosage is increased in order to achieve military effect. The mission of operation ranch was expanded to destroy the crops on which the Vietnamese Communist Party depended to increase its supply difficulties. On 7 January 1971, Operation Ranch completed its last mission.
Years have not settled the dispute over the use of defoliants. In 1982, the U.S. Air Force set up a research group to study this issue. With a budget of 140 million US dollars, it is ready to complete all the research work in 2006. However, the team's work seems to be progressing very slowly. In the past 20 years, it is only in the past 20 years that the team has managed to link nine diseases with the "orange sequelae".
According to people familiar with the matter, the association between diabetes and "Agent Orange" was discovered by the US air force research team as early as 1991, but they have not disclosed it to the outside world.
