"The 'fashion industry' is a typical urban industry, which links culture and industry, communicates life and production, and enlivens folk customs and art." Zhang Yanfeng, member of the CPPCC Zhengzhou Municipal Committee, vice chairman and secretary-general of Henan Garment Industry Association, said that Zhengzhou has garment production capacity and business foundation, providing capacity support for "designing Zhengzhou" and "fashion Zhengzhou", The development of fashion industry is conducive to the promotion of Zhengzhou's spiritual outlook and the adjustment of the city's industrial structure.
Zhang Yanfeng suggested that Zhengzhou should be empowered with fashion to accelerate the construction of an international consumption center city. First, build a public service platform, establish the Zhengzhou Fashion City Promotion Center or Zhengzhou Fashion Industry Federation, and guide and encourage industries, enterprises, and social organizations to play an important role in promoting the development of the fashion industry and creating an international consumption city. At the same time, with the fashion industry as the main focus, the fashion design center in central China has been launched, leading the high-quality development of Zhengzhou's fashion industry. Youth creative activities can also be used to strengthen cultural and fashion exchanges at home and abroad and promote international consumption. Through the International Youth Fashion Creative Week, China (Henan) International College Students Fashion Week, Zhengzhou International Fashion Week, etc., deepen exchanges and cooperation with famous tourist cities along the "Belt and Road", and carry out overseas marketing of tourism and consumer markets with the help of youth fashion creativity. Through the joint efforts of the government, industry and enterprises, we will improve Zhengzhou's fashion index, enhance the city's attraction to young talents, improve the cohesion of the fashion industry, and help Zhengzhou to form an international brand cluster and fashion trend leader.
