Vietnam'S Ready-Made Clothing Exports To Japan

Japan is the fourth largest country in Vietnam.

export market

(after the United States, the European Union and the ASEAN), in 2010, it imported $7 billion 730 million from Vietnam (about 10% of Vietnam's total exports).

In the first 2 months of 2011, it imported $1 billion 243 million from Vietnam, which grew by 17.8% over the same period in 2010, of which footwear products increased by 77.2%, coal increased by 75.3%, steel increased by 77.2%, and garments increased by 41.3%.

Although Vietnam's Ministry of Commerce and industry has not yet formally put forward an assessment report on the impact of Vietnam's future exports to Japan after the March 11, 2011 earthquake and tsunami, it is generally expected that Vietnam's chances of exporting to Japan are still optimistic, especially that of agricultural products, aquatic products and minerals.

In fact, Vietnam has been shipping to Japan since mid March 2011.

Every port in Xigong port system, such as Cat Lai, Tan Cang and Phuoc Long, has assembled a large number of container trucks loaded with rice husk, shrimp cake, dehydrated rice noodle, processing aquatic products, rubber wooden chairs and tables and three plywood every day to ship to Japan. Cai Lai port has lost about 1 million US dollars per day since March 11th.
